Exciting, excellently prepared slopes, snow guarantee and a number of spectacular events make Obereggen one of the most popular skiing resorts in South Tyrol. Fantastic views, great après ski places and a free shuttle service make for a perfect skiing day! 17 high-tech up to date ski lifts (13 chairlifts, 2 gondola lifts, 2 T-bar lifts) carry skiers and snowboarders up to an altitude of 2500 m to over 40 km of slopes, 27% of which are marked blue (easy), 58% red (intermediate) and 15% black (difficult). Modern snowmaking equipment is in use all season and guarantees best piste conditions!
Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente is also a perfect place for cross country skiing – 50 km of pistes attract nature-loving cross country skiers. There is also a training ski slope for kids open daily and even by night twice a week as well as two tobogganing tracks.
