A pleasant South Tyrolean mountain village, Deutschnofen/Nova Ponente is steadily becoming more touristic. Located on a sunny plateau 1350m above sea level, it consists in a small village centre and far-flung farms, woods and meadows. Hiking tracks and paths accessible even in winter offer a fantastic panoramic view of surrounding mountain ranges of the Dolomites and, among others, the Austrian Alps. We are an ideal starting point for pleasant walks, hikes into the woods and mountains, extensive tours of the Dolomites or for excursions to the south of our region rich in cultural heritage.

You might also want to visit the public observatory in nearby Gummer/San Valentino, the museums in Bozen/Bolzano or the Trauttmansdorff botanic garden near Meran/Merano. Skiers and snowboarders also come a long way to enjoy more than 40 km of neatly prepared slopes in Obereggen, a mere 7 km from Nova Ponente. The village centre provides all kinds of shopping and recreational facilities as well as all necessary services.
